The Hare and the Tortoise
Once upon a time, there was a speedy hare who loved to brag about how fast he could run. He would often make fun of the slow-moving tortoise.
One day, tired of the hare's boasting, the tortoise challenged him to a race. The hare laughed but agreed.
The race began, and the hare quickly ran ahead. Seeing how far behind the tortoise was, he decided to take a nap under a tree.
The tortoise kept walking slowly but steadily. While the hare was sleeping, the tortoise passed him and eventually crossed the finish line!
When the hare woke up, he ran as fast as he could, but it was too late. The tortoise had won the race!
